Mark's practice is spread among the various disciplines a typical corporate client might need, including commercial law matters, mergers & acquisitions and intellectual property law. Having practiced in large firms and small, Mark provides the depth of experience one might expect at a large firm, with the
responsiveness and sensitivity a smaller client needs. In addition, Mark was a senior executive at a technology startup for a few years, which gives him an unusual understanding of the concerns small companies have. Prior to attending law school, Mark was a programmer, (working in FORTRAN, COBOL and BASIC), on main-frame computers. After graduating from law school, Mark worked in New York City and Stamford, Connecticut, prior to moving to Seattle with his wife and three children in 1996. In his leisure time, Mark is an enthusiastic amateur astronomer and astrophotographer, when Seattle's weather allows. You can see his work at http://home.earthlink.net/~akilla/MAD.
